Edition 63: Bringing Smiles to Namitu Nkeri Children’s Home

On March 9th, the spirit of love and joy filled Namitu Nakeri Children’s Home in Kajiado County as Sonnie in Action (SIA) carried out its latest outreach initiative. Our members enthusiastically engaged in a variety of activities, creating a day full of warmth, laughter, and meaningful connections. From cooking, playing with the children, singing and dancing, to mentorship sessions, every moment was designed to uplift and inspire. A special focus was placed on supporting young mothers, who received valuable guidance and assurance that a tailored program to empower them is in the works. The day was a testament to SIA’s commitment to making a lasting impact—not just for the children, but for the entire community. As we continue our mission, we look forward to expanding our reach and deepening our support for those who need it most.
